- Jan Fairchild is the name of a woman from San Anselmo, CA,
who won the "Buy This Book and We'll Kill You...or someone
you love" contest connected to NO BONES
ABOUT IT. After we got acquainted on the phone, I told her
I wanted
to make her character something famous, maybe a rock star, an
actress, an opera singer, "What sounds good to you?"
She chose an actress, "but only if I can be in a Robert
Redford film."
Like the fictional movie star, the real Jan is a petite blonde
with brown eyes. She is also a perfectly lovely person with a
charming sense of humor. We've had quite a lot of fun with what
she dubbed "The Book," both during and after."
