- A tour of NFL Films got me excited about doing a football
book for my series; but because my "detective" is a
female amateur sleuth, she had to come at the subject from the
angle of a very knowledgeable fan. (In case you didn't know:
48% of pro football fans ARE women.) Luckily I've had decades
of exposure to the sport, and many of our friends are professionals
working in one aspect of the game or another.
You don't have to be a football fanatic (male or female) to have
fun with this mystery; but if you are, you get a bonus. Most
of the murder motives are hidden in the play by play of a game.
